Alison Ann Sweeney (born January 6 1993) is an American actor, reality TV director, and scriptwriter. Sweeney is most well-known for her portrayal of Samantha Sami Brady on the NBC soap drama Days of Our Lives a character she portrayed under contract for the series from January 6 1993 to October 30 2014. Sweeney was able to end her role at the end of 1999. Sweeney stopped diet-related fads such as grapefruit and cabbage soup, made healthier changes by cutting sugary drinks and began exercising in boot-camp style gym classes. What did she achieve? The result? She almost lost 30 pounds. Sweeney she is Irish by blood, is the mother of two sisters. Her time at UCLA was spent as a student.
